We Survived The Night

Reports coming in say the Playhouse Barn is secure and  intact this morning (October 25th) after two consecutive nights of zombie attacks.  Early reports indicate patron casualties were minimal; thanks in large part to the quick thinking and action of cast, crews, and volunteers. Officials are reported to be on site.  Great job and thanks to all those playhouse supporters who braved the terror and helped preserve the Barn for another year.

Yikes Times Three: The Barn May Not Only Be Haunted, but It May Be Overrun With Zombies.

They're Young and Full of Potential

The Fulton County Playhouse proudly announces The Fulton County Playhouse The Fulton County Playhouse. A drama club has been set up for children and teenagers in grades K-12.  Largely brought about by parents associated with our 2009 children's play, the club will be overseen by a committee consisting of 3 non-board members and 2 board members.  Along with the goals of educating children in the arts and crafts of theater,  the club will also attempt to provide activities and performance opportunities for children outside of the Playhouse's normal season venues. There are no fees to pay and all parents, children, and teens are welcome.  Please see the Junior Performers page for more and updated information.

Thanks for the Memories

The 2009 regular season has finished.  It was our 46th year. This was a very successful season at the barn and we are hoping to have another great year in 2010.  Events outside of the regular season will be posted to this site as the year continues.  Please continue to check this site for upcoming events and news.

The 46th Season Roars Into The Barn

The Fulton County Playhouse started its 46th season Thursday evening (June 18th, 2009) with The Mouse That Roared. To the cast; thanks for all the laughs. To the audience; thanks for laughing.

The Wall The Myers Built

Gage and Trenton Myers stopped by last Saturday (June 13th, 2009) and asked if we could use some help.  They ended up spending the next few days tearing out and replacing the flooring, ceiling, and outside wall of the downstage right entrance hallway.  Thanks guys.  The Barn really  needed the work done and thanks for doing it in time for the new season.

Let The Rehearsals Begin

The Mouse That Roared
and Darkside auditions are over. Thank you to everyone who tried out.  We hope everyone who auditioned will continue to try out for our future plays.  Congratulations to everyone who found a part.  For those who were not chosen for roles in these plays we wish you greater success in the future and hope you will help in other capacities with all the things it takes to put on a great play. We still will be auditioning for Memories From The  Porch.  It looks like we are getting off to a great season.

The Mouse That Roared comes to the Barn

What could be a better fit  then a mouse in a barn.  How about a roaring mouse and the Playhouse Barn.  Yes, The Mouse That Roared is coming to The Playhouse in June.  Hannah Kline has been  interested in doing The Mouse That Roared for some time and has put much of her life on hold to give the Playhouse an outstanding comedy for our June production.  Please check the Directors/Cast pages for more information and links to their specific pages. Thank you Hannah.

Disney's Beauty And The Beast Jr auditions are done

Thank you to everyone who tried out and a big thanks to everyone who brought them out to the Barn.  The directors and mentor were very impressed not only by the talent exhibited, but also buy the level of courtesy and respect shown.  Thank you all for such a wonderful job.  A very big thanks also to Michael Harmon, Hannah Worrell, and Chris Guidi for helping out so much.  We really appreciate all the time and effort you gave to make the auditions a success.
