Annual Board Meeting Notes

• Larry and the board thanked and recognized the directors of the past season for their work.

• Financial Overview Report: We are behind and not getting though the winter with utilities.

• Nominations

  • President

    • Larry Eskridge was nominated

    • Cassie Derby was nominated

    • Vote was tied twice

    • Decision settled with Coin Toss

    • Cassie Derby became new President

  • Vice-President

    • Tammy Weaver was nominated

    • Christina Brown was nominated

    • Vote was tied twice

    • Decision settled with Coin Toss

    • Tammy Weaver remained Vice-President

  • Secretary

    • Joshua Derby was nominated and seconded alone

    • Joshua Derby became new Secretary

Old Business

• Haunted Playhouse

  • Venture Club will do concessions and a deal has been reached to receive a portion of profits

  • Newspaper article was acknowledged and praised

  • Haunted Playhouse now looks to have the number of people it needs to work

  • Liz Pollitt brought up the fact that the garbage will be shut off on Tuesday November 2^nd.

  • David Miller will plug the Haunted Playhouse at his show.

• Amanda Vandermeer inquired about moving the children’s show to July of next year.

    • Public Date Confusion

    • Interference with other Fulton County annual events( Queen Pageant, Fulton County Fair)

  • Discussion was tabled until the next meeting

Other Business

• David Miller said he could get the sign fixed

  • Randy Weaver Motioned, Aaron Haacke 2^nd.

  • Discussion

    • Field owner needs to be contacted

    • Cost was discussed, cost will be free

  • Motion was then amended by Randy Weaver.

    • David Miller will have his students draw up ideas for the road sign and present them at the next meeting. Also sandwich board and a food and drink sign ideas were also discussed.

• Tabled idea for Christmas show

• A motion was presented for the phone to be shut off

  • Joshua Derby 2^nd Motion

  • Motion was amended by Tammy Weaver

    • Phone shut off pending shut off fee.

      • David Miller then 2^nd amended motion.

• Cassie Derby then appointed Liz Pollitt as the Business Manager.

• End of Fiscal Year 10/31/10

  • Randy moved to accept motion

• David Miller requested use of costumes for Dracula

  • Aaron 2^nd

• Randy Weaver requested use of lights for Many Light Productions

• November Meeting was scheduled for 2pm at the Baptist Church in Canton on November 7^th, 2010.
