County Playhouse Board Meeting February 6, 2011 Attendance: Cassie Derby, Joshua Derby, Adam Derby, Ron Bunner, Tammy Weaver, Randy Weaver, Liz Pollitt, Christina Brown, Aaron Haacke, Jim Lafary, Hannah Kline, and Chris Brown. Absent were, Larry Eskridge, and David Miller. Meeting was called to order at 2:04 PM. Randy Weaver gave the prayer. The board minutes for the January 9, 2011 meeting were presented for board approval. Tammy noted corrections to be made in the minutes. Ron motioned to accept, Adam second with corrections. Financial Report Overall Balance as of 2/5/2011: $1819.33 Randy Weaver motioned to accept financial report, Jim second, motion passed. Committee Reports Barn Manager Greg Ford found a small leak out at the Barn and said he would take care of it. By-Laws No report. Concessions: No report. Make Up: No report. Program Ad Sales Chris Brown made contact with Browns Snappy Service, Monicals, and Staples. Properties No report. Publicity Randy Weaver will be getting in touch with Dee Zaborac on February 11, 2011. Scholarship No report. Special Events Tammy asked to have ideas sent to her. Technical Randy Weaver still working on getting a board from Jason Parkinson. Wardrobe David Miller still has not returned his costumes from Dracula. Set Design No Report. Website Still running. Old Business New Season Cassie went over the last meeting. Tammy then informed the board that we were approved for No Time for Sergeants and all was good for Ducktails and Bobby socks. Tammy informed the board that the musical is on lockdown until it is paid for. She proposed that money from the Riser Fund is used to pay for the fees with the agreement that initial money from the Program Ad Sales go back into the Riser Fund. Christina motioned to accept, with Arron second, motion passed. Christina informed the Board that a sympathy card was sent to the Williams Family and a get well/thinking of you card was sent to Jessica Negley. Liz brought up the situation with the missing money from Bone Chiller. Randy motioned to deduct the money from the Director’s Fee to clear up the missing money and call it even. Christina second, motion passed New Business Get your committee clean up dates to Cassie ASAP!!!! Discussion on who will take over the Ticket Sales Ideas brought up about maybe rubber stamping tickets with coupon incentives Julie Toney requested a donation of tickets to be auctioned off for her business charity on February 19th, 2011. Christina motioned to auction off a pair of season tickets. Discussions over whether to provide just two tickets to one show or 2 season tickets should be donated. Christina the amended her motion donate two season tickets and tickets to Duck, Duck, Shoot with the option to upgrade them to season tickets. Ron second, motion passed Next meeting set for March 6, 2011 at 2pm at First Baptist Church Ron motion to adjourn meeting, Adam second, meeting adjourned. |
